I said from the start that this holding is terrible, at least my decision to do this holding in the Main Fleets for SFO and HoK only was the right decision.

Roughly 280,000 zen at the current market prices for that level of dilithium. Projects are usually already running when I check in but I didn’t realise the costs were that high.

Now imagine that over all 7 fleets - just shy of 2 million zen - ouch!

It's an insane amount of dilithium, even if you consider it can take a year to complete. The vast majority of fleets will not be able to get anywhere near to finished, probably not even half way.

Everyone was so concerned about the provision minigame grind they let Cryptic walk over them with the massive dilithium price hike.

For these costs, the Holding gear needs to be *ELITE*. I mean truly epic-scale awesome. Some people will pay the price for it and I say let them have it.

Dilithium sink is one aspect of it at least. Outside of the colony holding there is little else to soak up dilithium, most people are done with upgrades these days. So the dilithium value undergoes a sort of inflation where dilithium gets less and less of value.

The only thing i can honestly hope for is that at T5 the ship we can access (Lukari ship of some sort i think) is some sort of uber-ship. The holding gear looks ok..but not exceptional, so doubt that will please people.

Main thing i want is the cool colony outfit with the cloak!
