Expect a blog soon on the terrifying Breen Plesh Tral Heavy Raider [T6]! The Lobi Crystal Consortium’s top engineers have been hard at work taking this vessel and giving it a complete overhaul to make it ready for captains to fly. A Dev Blog containing full stats and descriptions will be published separately, so keep your eyes open for it!

This year, players will claim the wonderful new starship by collecting Winter Prize Vouchers (2017) and using them to complete the new Event Reputation Project. Winter Prize Vouchers are available from completing The Fastest Race on Ice while the event is running, or from visiting the Lobi Crystal Store to purchase them from the Lobi Crystal Consortium.

Fleets can also take part in the festivities by completing a new Fleet Project. Once completed, their Starbase can proudly display the 2017 Breen Ship Ornament featuring the Breen Plesh Tral Heavy Raider. (This will appear first on PC, and then in a later Console update.)

I never thought I would say this, but it's a Breen ship design which I like.

I find all the Breen designs hideous.

Sure they look quite good when you are aiming at one down the barrel of a photon torpedo launcher, but i cannot stand flying them!

Yep, to appease all those players who wanted it and Cryptic wouldn't give it to them. It'll probably match the T5u version, an additional lieutenant boff slot instead of the ensign, and possibly a Pilot seat. The console will likely match fairly close to what the T5 version had like they did with the previously released T6 Breen ship. Not sure what the mastery will be...

Although we'll know soon, I'll take a wild guess. It'll have something to do with an energy drain skill, such as tyken's rift or energy siphon. The energy drain will extend to reach out against multiple targets and provide either a shield heal or temporary hull hp based on the number of enemies affected.

Honestly I feel a little ripped off by this ship in a way. I already have this ship, I got years ago! Make a new one! It looks almost exactly the same. I get why they do breen ships during the winter event but it would be nice if we saw something new.

Apparently this is the trait for the Winter Event ship:

After activating Auxiliary Power to Emergency Battery, or any Pilot Bridge Officer Ability, damage caused by your Energy Weapons also applies a Resistance Debuff to the damaged foe, while also reducing their Current and Max Power in All Subsystems, and reducing their Flight Speed. This effect stacks multiple times, but only applies to the first shot of each weapon's firing cycle.

I remember when the Rezreth came out (Winter 2015), first rumors had it with a Polaron-flavored lance a la the Yamato/Kolasi/Kara. Man, I'd have flown the bejeezus out of that version of the Rezreth.
