Curious to know if UFP Community will be interested in a Guild on the Official Classic Server(s) when ever Blizzard gets around to releasing it.
I know it’s a bit premature to ask, however I’m making a discussion about it to see if there is a player base looking forward to World if Warcraft - Classic.

The Reason I ask is due to me playing in NA and the current Retail Guild is on EU. I would guess the guild would be decided by CL6, but wasn’t sure if any would be interested in a NA.

This is a decision that would be taken by Holodeck command, not CL6, FEO does not generally speaking dictate the realms used, that's the job of the divisions! Although, given that Holodecks command team use the EU region of WoW, a classic guild would probably be made on an EU server, unless there were volunteers to manage and maintain an NA guild.

WoW requires players to purchase the game again for another region, which is a bit insane, but there you go, so this means it would not be a reasonable request of the Holodeck staff to purchase another copy of the game. Unless someone volunteers to run, maintain and recruit for an NA guild, with the current set up, I don't think it'd happen.

    Hope that helps!

I can understand the hassle buying a separate copy of WoW. I ended up buying a second copy just to play with the EU guild. Recruitment wouldn’t be an issue because we can roll that into the current WoW recruitment, those that play on the NA servers could recruit for NA and those that play on EU can recruit for EU.

I think the biggest thing to look at is how many people currently in the fleet in NA actually play WoW, if there is enough of a group then finding a common server from a current Legion perspective may be difficult. However, from a Classic standpoint that shouldn’t be an issue as I don’t think in theory these will be currently operating servers but will be seperate new servers.

Definitely, there was a time when I was going to buy up to
Legion to be in the UFP Guild alone, but after talking with Blizzard, they had mention to perhaps wait for a next expansion since they may be able to have one account for both. (they also didn’t discourage from me buying another copy of Wow lol) I don’t imagine they will have many Classic Realms other then PvP, PvE, RP-PvE, & RP-PvP.

I have been playing on the NA servers since Beta and the reason why I haven't joined the UFP guild is because of the separate licenses you need. Now depending on how Blizzard implements these Classic servers, I'd be on board.
