Hello everyone, recently I got back into STO after a small break due to the release of the 2017 Q's Winter Wonderland, I have been having the literal time of my life throwing snowballs at assimilated snowmen or later on shooting ball-balls at the Snowking! though I have been having a lot of fun in the snow (especially since its the middle of summer around Christmas time where I live) but the amount of lag and timeouts are really bringing the experience down.
So I wanted to hear what other people opinions are on Q's Wonder Land and to see what their favourite part is!

So, I've had some time with this while not being able to explore it all, yet. I've only made serious effort to get the DOffing done for the "money", and trying to master the race for the event Rep. Otherwise, I tend to go grab some Marks and then head to the colony for provisions.
My impression is that the event is ... okay. It's certainly a change from the typical grind to be sure. For my part can't (or don't want to) stay there for any serious amount of time. It's not very Trekkie to me.

I LOVE Q's WINTER WONDERLAND!! it is the best event STO has..
I just wish I had more and active fleet members that I could enjoy it more with.

I'm a big fan. Holiday stuff, I usually do with Q'uthran, my Klingon scientist. I sort of imagine her XO handing her a PADD...
XO: "I've read all of Ambassador Worf's reports on dealings with this 'Q', General."
(Having been turned into a snowman at Q's whim, Q'uthran grabs the PADD with one stick-arm.)
XO: "We have to be prepared to deal with any acts of... what passes for whimsy, General."

I treat it like any other mission. I do what needs to be done to achieve the desired result. I have all of the things that can be got (except for a few clothing items and a pet that are not to my liking), and all that's left are the Help 25/50 Gingerbread People accolades. I'm working on those the best I can. I'm mastery-ing the ship as I write this.
The game grinds on.
