Hi there,
Recently came back to the game to play on a casual basis after years away from the game. Looks like there is a new tier of ships, so i'm level 60 and I guess I need one. I bought some fleet ship modules, as I believe you need those to buy fleet ships. I went to the ship requisition vendor at space dock to buy the ship as I had the other needed supplies and tried to buy the fleet command assault cruiser, and I received the following message "you do not have permission to buy from provisioned fleet stores".
What does this mean? I'm trying to refamiliarize myself with the way things work and I'm confused. If I have to wait a certain amount of weeks or whatever to use anything since I was recently reinvited to fleet, no worries. I'll follow whatever rules we have, but if I'm doing something wrong, or if I have to go to another place, like the fleet itself, let me know.

Off the cuff reply, but most likely that is because you were re-invited to fleet and your character is still a cadet and not yet a crewman rank for fleet store access.
Not sure what the waiting period is nowadays, or if it can/will be bumped up due to being grandfathered in.
I'm sure an officer can give a better reply shortly, everyone's asleep at this hour I would suspect.

This is correct. If you are not a Crewman, you cannot purchase from the Fleet Stores. I believe the probationary period is two weeks?
I would get in touch with someone that knew you back when and see what they can do for you.

Yes you’ll normally need to wait out the probationary period which is normally a couple of weeks from your join date.
But looking at your application it appears ready for promotion already, probably waiting for someone of the correct rank to log in to do it. If I’m on tonight I’ll get it sorted for you.
