    Dexter is a Disney movie compared to some of the violent scenes in Higurashi.

    The violence portion is quite long, and marked severe.

    Missed this post because I went to latest, whoops!

    But looking at the rating, Australia puts it at an M15 at most, being that the Australian board is quite strict, I don't think it's that bad! And Dexter got quite bad late on, you had parts of a body sewed onto dolls and paraded on horses, as well as the trap set that would kill someone, and various other nasties bits.

    It doesn't look like it'd bother me too much, with context mixed in.

    I'll save you the time: The English release was licensed by Sentai Filmworks, it's not on Crunchyroll or Funimation. So... buying it or donning an eye patch are your only options Wink
