I have never been big into MMORPGs. In fact the only game that I played regularly before STO that is considered an MMO is World of Tanks, which isn't really much like most other MMOs.
Being a fan of Star Trek, I decided to try it out and I definitely got hooked. While I am still confused and apprehensive about playing an MMORPG, I am quickly becoming more familiar with it.
A little more on the personal side, I am a licensed pilot and certified flight instructor. I would like to eventually fly for the Navy, and have been training to do so. The "naval" nature of Star Trek is therefore fairly familiar to me.
Hopefully I get to know this community better, and hold myself to remaining active even as my life progresses.
