It looks like the saucer does a sort of Manta Ray Wing feature over the hull at the rear. It's nifty!
I like the look.

But now, for something completely different.
The U.S.S. Delta Flyer of Borg

Only the Impulse engine and the Deflector are Borg. I started making Adapted M.A.C.O. armor, shields, and guns before I got to the Borg shield. Since it's just a costume, I'll get around to it eventually.
The Delta Flyer of Borg is driven by the complete (4 piece) Temporal Defense Initiative set. The shield effect is disabled, the pattern is Orion, and the colors are black and black.

I did the /gfxsetdefaultfov 160 in the chat window thing. I think it was 160. It might have been 175. Normal FOV is 55.

Lol, that's crazy. I usually go for smaller FOV's to enhance the scale of the ships in relation to the background. Gives a sense of scale the game lacks....unless you're insane and try to play with FOV set to something like 10 or 20, now THAT makes doing the Breach and experience!

But doing the opposite can get some really crazy effects too, depends of the angle you want to take.

Defaults:
/setRegionFOV ground 55
/setRegionFOV space 55
Other FOV regions: CharacterCreator, Indoor, None, PvP, SectorSpace, SystemMap

The FOVs go all the way down to 15, and all the way up to 160.
Try some space screencaps at 15 some time. You can see the welds in the hull plates.
Right around 75 on the ground gives a little bit of a fish eye effect. More like a FPS. I dislike it.

173 Million EC, Worth every Penny, Works so well with the Intel Dready, but I kinda regret it now since I was gonna use that EC to get the NX with the console I needed for the Synergistic 2-Piece but alas, space barbie wins the Day
