Actually, come to think of it many UFP members might already have a parse but just not realise it.

Often a person uploading will actually be uploading everyone else in the run at the same time without them knowing so it's worth looking up your handle just in case someone added you already.
Several of the DPS guys do this every run they make so the list of players getting uploaded is pretty massive, even if they don't realise it.

Do we have to get (or have) a parse for ground? Not that it will matter for me, as I'm likely not even Delta quality. My gear and build is embarrassing old (like days when MACO/Omega first released). My ground kit is worthless now, guess I missed that change so all my rare ground kits are vendor trash only...

I may be worthy of bottom tier teams of Rho, Sigma, or Tau. I'll have to put my build up in the Build forum and give everyone a good chuckle.

As for a time to do (have) these parse, for me, the best time would be STF Sundays. Let the Rainbow Beams destroy the enemy.

We will be doing ground as well, but I am a noob at it so we will have o work things out first.

Hey. I don't know if any one has brought this up or not, but as far as placing players into teams:

There are some players out there that may not be able to do much DPS but have an incredible amount of buff and de-buff support. While at the same time those who have a high DPS may not be a "Team Player" and complete their own adgenda. I am in no way pointing fingers or accusing anyone of such an act, simply putting that "out there".

Is there any way to have players who wish to join up simply demostrate their abilities and be placed accordingly?

There are some who wish to play as "support" as well those who want to be "DPS", teams should be made up of a combination of several componets and not just heavy hitters on one team and the weaker players in another. Eventually this could go down a dark road of isolation and contempt amongst players.

I am in no way trying to 'tear down' the concept of anyone's ideas or planning for this endeavor, but only wanting to see all possibilities explored to ensure a good experience for all.

No-one shall be excluded, I think the best would be to create Team - Echo for Support Players without DPS requirements.

That's a great idea it think. I've personally flown with numerous builds that don't do much DPS (and also because i don't really chase it) but are perfectly welcome in elite content etc.

Max-drain build, mega-grav well builds, healers, debuffing sci boats. I think they all have a place in endgame if you don't measure by DPS alone.

Agreed with these, also max heal and tank boats dont spit out mutch DPS so its only fair imho

As a former ESF member; I seldom had fun running with high dps teams... fun is in co-op... coordination and doing stuff together...

It's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is.

I'd definitely be up for this. Must admit though, would need help with the parse run. Never have done one, I just sort of guessed what my damage output is, so would be good to find out a figure.

I actually find high DPS runs to be kind of stressful, everything's blowing up quickly and then we have to rush to the next place quickly, while I'm frantically trying to activate appropriate abilities.
