I'm very excited to see Cardassians as a playable race, it has been over five years in the making.

To be honest this is a disapointment, if at all they should have got their own faction the potential of the Cardassians is just so high for good story telling.

Pretty cool news. Not so cool is the actual result in my opinion. I don't like the look the ended up with very much. Hopefully, it's just a poorly chosen example and you can make your toon look a lot more Cardassian than this.

Completely agree with you Bridger, given the disarming of the Cardassian people at the end of the Dominion War, the True Way stuff we've already had etc there is plenty of them to work with that could be on par with Legacy of Romulus and after all the requesting over the years for them as a playable race they essentially have to share it with whatever the ViL storyline is? It's a bit disappointing. Glad they're playable but it could have been so much more.

I'm keeping my expectations low from this expansion. Nothing after the Romulan expansion was released on a large scale. So I suppose whatever comes - I'm not going to be disappointed!

I agree with everyone on the potential for Cardassians having their own story and expansion.

YES!

Ever since DS9, my favourite species have been the Cardassians and the Trill. I can't wait to play as one, I just hope they won't make us pay for it like pretty much all the others.

This expansion has been nothing but disappointment for me, Cardassians were the second highest voted faction after Romulans...Romulans are left in the toilet and apparently they're never going to get a new race

Add on top of that we're getting a Dominion faction then told all we can play is Jem Hadar...

I think these are the straws that broke the camels back for me.

They have made it clear they don't care about anything but making money...23rd Century Feds were a lazy excuse to make a big ship pack and Dominion faction is gonna be a lazy excuse to sell a big ship pack.
