    Greetings,

    It is my sad duty to report that due to considerable pressures in his real life, T'Tan has elected to step down as Academy Commandant as of today. He has been a force for change since he became CO last year, fostering in many improvements and changes that have greatly improved the Academy and its position in the community. He won't be gone from the Academy altogether however, as he's staying on as an RSO.

    This leaves a huge void to fill, and I'm happy to announce that Petrarch has agreed to step up to take over as Commandant of the Academy. Having been T'Tan's XO for the last few months, he is perfectly placed to continue the fantastic work that has been going on within the Academy.

    Please join me in congratulating Petrarch on his new role, and thanking T'Tan for all his hard work! Congrats

    Cheers everyone!

    I hope to be able to continue the work of the Academy to the best possible standards and keep the warp core ticking over as we head into the future and I appreciate the trust that's being placed in me. I may even finally be able to get the Academy replicators reprogrammed to dispense cake!
