I'm a fan of Timber Wolf (among others), and there was a blip in another thread concerning "budget builds". This one came across my feed and I thought to post to share

My biggest problems with Timberwolf are that he never shares a skill planner link for his builds (mostly for what skills he picks), and the majority of the builds he does do videos on are top of the line, best in slot item builds that cost billions of EC. Not everyone is a whale like him.

This build, however, is decent though.

I agree on the skills and traits not showing. Yet, I'd wager that Traits are likewise "budget" in that one would get them from "free" sources, thus limiting them as such.

If you have not already, check out his "What I use" video. Yeah, that's some pricey gear. Still, "seeing" what could be done is nice because most other places show off builds that are very unreasonable to attain for the average player.

Big part of his builds to is the fact that he has every Reputation maxed out as well, and those are not cheap either, so hardly budget IMHO.

And that's fair, I suppose. So, 32K DPS is a little misleading. Clearly, everything else (including piloting) affects performance.

Yet, the suggestion is more about the ship gear.
