They are time related, tonight and tomorrow are the final 2 beta tests before the game is released on November 14th.

That's what I'm worried about with the building aspect of the game. From what you're saying, it sounds like the safest approach is to set down somewhere and as soon as you've got what you need, pack up again and move on to a new spot.

It's pretty good, it's like Fallout 4 with friends, but without the NPCs, which is sad, the only NPCs are robots. The events are a bit of fun as well, but they will get repetitive after a while I feel, just like the world quests in WoW, for anyone who has done those.

I wish I had more time to play during the B.E.T.A. times, but alas I didn't. I only got to level 7 and not much outside the starting-ish area. Can't wait to play more!

I didn't get past the initial large settlement area that the storyline points you towards, despite the BETA progress carrying over into the live servers, I wanted to hold off and not get too far ahead before things went live. I'm looking forward to the release next week and getting stuck in properly.

Fallout 76 went live early today on November 13th for anyone that had a game code.

Alas, I do not have my game code yet as the game is being shipped to me still from Amazon...

Mine is due to arrive today from Amazon, so all being well, I should get a few hours in tonight. I didn't do much during the beta as I wanted to wait for things to go live instead, but I'm looking forward to it.

I just really hope the PvP thing doesn't turn into a grief fest as the days and weeks roll on. Roll on private servers!

So yea, Buyer beware here, if you bought your key from a 3rd party retailer (Like I did to gift to my Friend), PC codes are Region Locked. Despite the fact that I asked Bethesda Customer Support and being told that wasn't the case: https://imgur.com/a/EvKeCcc (read bottom to top)

So, though my copy arrived a day late, I got in for a few hours last night to tread the wastes and get started. I'm rather enjoying myself truth be told, bugs and all, though I'm not yet at the level where PvP is going to be a concern, so that's an experience for down the line. I've not got anyone on the friends list from the UFP yet, so I'll have to get that sorted. It would be nice to have a bit of company plus some of the challenges require a group for completion.

I was fortunate enough to find a laser pistol so I'm saving that for a rainy day, though I do need to take a better look at camp building once I've got more in the way of resources. Much like what Sammy mentioned previously, I've seen others complaining that camp defending basically becomes a war of attrition that heavily favours the attackers should you find yourself on the receiving end, so that's something I hope Bethesda take a look at.

Most annoying bug so far? The radio is kicking back in over the top of the survivor holotapes instead of letting them finish a lot of the time.

Highlight of last night: I was in Flatwoods and suddenly got a message from my Pipboy that there was a nuke incoming. Queue a rapid retreat from the town into open country, which turned out to be fruitless, as I heard the nuke coming in but I didn't see where it hit. Wherever it was, it wasn't in the town so nothing happened in our little corner of West Virginia!
