I get bored at work in between my patrols, and I watch science Youtube Channels, like Mark Rober, a former NASA JPL engineer who worked on the Curiosity Rover.

So, back on topic: How much Pee is in that public/home swimming pool?

Oh, that nostalgic 'pool smell'? That's Trichloramine, which is a byproduct of Human Urine and Pool Chlorine. eek!

Surprised you only just found that out, I've known that since I was a small child, my mum told me, can't say it really bothers me to know that. I didn't like swimming before I knew that, and I wouldn't take up swimming if pools were suddenly clean. I just find it to be a pointless bit of information, just like how the water you drink is cleaned, and recycled from all sorts of waste, it's just one of those things.

If you can't get over urine in a public/home swimming pool, forget about going to the beach! Sea water is even more filthy, and in some places, a risk of parasites. Again though, it's a body of water, doesn't appeal to me personally, the sand is nice to play with, but also probably covered in urine, without the chlorine to help keep it sanitary.

I mean really, it won't hurt you, so don't worry about it, we come into contact with far more disgusting things in the world through our everyday life than urine in a pool!
