R&D Promo

If anyone fancies their chances or simply has zen to spare that they'd like to turn into EC, here's an opportunity for you. The new addition to the pack this time around is a Hur'q Dreadnought, which has some odd stats (at the bottom of the blog announcement) as it's only a 4/3 layout instead of a 4/4.

is there a difference between the Temporal Light Cruiser- TOS Constitution class and the 23rd Century Tier 6 ship- TMP Constitution variant? or is it the same ship?

Same ship, comes with both skins

have to admit that Connie is the ONLY ship I want and need to complete my Enterprise Collection on my main fed! never had any luck with these promotions though

Like I told you to do it for a thousand times, buy as many boxes you can or you want, wait until the event is over and the prices are going back, sell the boxes get a lot of EC and later buy the ship for EC that way you will get it for sure.

I think the 23rd Century Tier 6 ship is a pack that lets you chose a Fed, Rommie, or Klink ship from TOS, whereas the Temporal Light Cruiser specifically is the TOS/TMP Connie. So if you get that pack you can chose the TOS/TMP Connie or the D7 Temporal Battlecruiser or T'liss warbird from TOS.

What Bridger said is by far the easiest and least painful way to do it, (though it will take a little time) unless you're feeling exceptionally lucky and fancy your chances.

Buy the boxes, don't open them, sell them on the exchange and shove the profits into the space piggy bank.

In general I get 2.8 to 4 Billion EC out of it, but since they are running this more often now the profit is declining on the positive site things are getting cheaper.

How many boxes is that? The Connie is what ... 2 billion?

So, if I buy boxes to save for later, about how many boxes would I need to acquire?

She is under a Billion EC so worst case scenario you will have to sell 100 R&D Boxes for 10 Million Each but I can imagine that the prices will drop even more.
