I really like the darkness of the Romulan one but it's still ruined by those hideous glowing green parts in random places. Why can't we have a true black or dark shield visual without crazy neon trim lines or patterns?

I am the guy that would have bought a Tucker or an Edsel back in the day.
My 1979 Ford LTD station wagon? Special edition. Commercial / fleet package. Couldn't use regular parts on it. Everything was 'beefier' than the standard. Think The Blues Brothers.

I feel like AP was doing well enough in the first place that it'll still be fine even though this didn't exactly throw goodies at it. My Antiproton-armed Romulan warbird will try some stuff out with these changes. I've always enjoyed the Delta Assault set, and hell, I might go back and revisit the Radiant Armaments set, just because I've never used it before (but I might save doing that for use on my Tetryon ship).

I look forward to new toys, even if it's going to take a month to get them.

I'm tempted to grab an Experimental Disruptor array, but I assume it's green and thus would clash with my TTFDA and Spiral Waves. So that saves a chunk of change!

Anyone try out the Romulan Rep disruptor beam? I'm curious if it is changed to look like a disruptor or if it still looks like plasma?
