[Generator]

Hey folks!

So this is the alt I've been using most recently. He's a K-Rom Engineer, and after trying many, many different ships, I think I've settled on using a Vastam CBC for him. The goal is to get some decent performance while not spending a crap-ton of ECs on him.

A few notes:

As of this writing, I don't have the skill tree on the planner filled in. I'll get to it, but for now, assume a fairly balanced tree (i.e. no Ultimates).

Ditto traits. I filled in the ones I can recall putting on him, the rest I'll do later. The 4th starship trait was Battle Ready (but the planner wasn't letting me put that in), and the 5th slot isn't unlocked yet.

I'm certainly open to AtBing him later, but right now I don't have the Technicians for it, so that'll wait.

I really don't know what singularity core I want to use. The ones I'm considering are Terran (+all power), Temporal/Gamma (+sector speed), Iconian (Iconian), or the Colony Sustained Protomatter (+Shield/Eng/Aux power, -Wpn power cost). Right now I'm using either Solanae or Delta, I forget which.

The Chroniton beams are leftover from my D'Khellra experiment (I can elaborate later if anyone cares). When he unlocks T6 reps, my plan is to replace the Advanced Temporal Defense munitions set with the Delta one (love me some Neutronic Torps). I'm open to the idea of replacing the Chroniton beams with some other flavor of Antiproton weaponry, but not 100% sold on it. Anyone got suggestions? I've got a few Infinity Weapon packs still unopened from both last night and recent Key binges, so I could try something if there's any good ideas.

Should I even stick with beams? Personally, I've always found CBCs have enough turn to use cannons.

I updated the linked build, filled in his skills as they are currently (highly open to reallocation), and his traits. IIRC, the Repair Crews and Ablative Shell traits aren't actually bought yet; I still need to work up the cash, but they are the plan.

I am also in the process of acquiring standard AP beams with which to replace the Chronitons; they'll get upgraded at the next Upgrade Weekend and dropped into the build.

This alt doesn't get tons of play, Bridger, so don't go building something that breaks the bank.

EDIT: Honestly, if you want to help, just talk to me. I get more from a discussion of what's being done why than just poring over a build sheet.
