Yeah, I get that part. My point is, that's not the default arrangement. But the fact that this shows up in lockbox ships all the d*mn time is starting to distort peoples' assumptions about what a "standard" ship layout looks like.

Actually, only one lockbox ship. The Hur’q Assembly Multi-Mission Science Vessel [T6] is a Lobi ship. But I get your point.

5/2 is becoming normal.

I will give you this, I don't like 5/2 on an Escort Carrier. Keep those 4/3. And lose the Experimental Weapon slot.

You're right. I have a tendency to lump Lobi ships in the mental category of "Lockbox ships". Whether I ought to be, well, that's an issue for another day.

Right there with ya. Zen or Lobi or lockbox, all pretty much the same classification. Real Money Ships.
Though TECHNICALLY you can get them with DIL, have you ever heard of anyone doing that?

Yeah, it can be done, but it requires having for lack of a better term, and infrastructure of alts in place to conduct large-scale Contraband to dilithium exchange. From there, it was changed the dilithium to Zen, buy things in the sea store that can be sold on the exchange, and that's how you get your ships.

Personally, I don't have the patience for that, no real desire for most of those ships. So I limit myself to a much smaller scale of operations for that. just a small, steady stream of dilithium and Zen to keep me happy.
