Honestly, I can get behind this. It never made tons of sense to me to have Red Alerts all the time that gave complete choice of Marks.

It may work, it may not. I do think they should have tested out the random queues system first on the live server before doing this however.

Can't that also be flipped the other way, too? Without the "easy out" of the Red Alerts, those queues might actually pop. Just to name one, hell, I like Binary Circuit. I'd rather get my Comp Marks from there than yet another Borg RA.

Red Alerts didn't used to reward all marks. I didn't even learn they started to do so for weeks afterwards.

The dead queues were still dead, you just had lots of people pissed off they couldn't get needed marks.

Looking forward to the random Q's although I just started an alt so won't be doing any Q's at all for a while.

My main spent more time looking at the Q list than actually playing under the current system. Any change at all is an improvement to me.

I don't really like this change. Red Alerts were great way to earn rep and dil for people that have become casuals in game, like myself. If I needed marks for either my alts or to turn in for dil, Red Alerts were the way to go.

This. There are only three red alerts in game always available. They offer the a choice of marks. I don't see how removing these and only picking certain one to return on the weekend is good for casual players.
But hey, let's try it and see how it goes.

I want to agree. Admittedly, running those Alerts was felling "grindy" to me and a sense of staleness has started to creep in. I fully recognized it as I read the news so Ill give it a try and either white-knight or dark-knight the change later.

Maybe this will lead to more TFOs being created that offer a variety of Marks?

Two runs, no? 10+55 for the Daily bonus = 65, 35+35 = 70, by the second run you're a smidge ahead. Am I missing something?
