    So I have enough Lobi to buy one of the ships, which is the best one do you reckon for a new AoD character, tac? I'm half tempted to get the Walker class just for the roleplay purposes

    Well, leaving aside the Walker, the one that's probably the best bang for your buck (or Lobi in this case) is probably the Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnought, AKA the Vengeance class. It's not very easy on the eye, but the thing has teeth.

    The Walker Class is a good ship, the NX is very good and the Vengeance is amazing assuming you are only interested in FED ships.

    NX Refit i've heard nothing but good things about.

    The Vengeance is an obvious choice too but might i also throw out the Maquis Raider if you like fast nimble ships with a nasty bite to them? Still technically a Federation ship as it was initially a Starfleet vessel before the Maquis stole them.

    As an Escort man, I would have to throw my vote to the NX Refit. HOWEVER, the [Console - Universal - Broadside Emitter Arrays] from the Kelvin Intel Cruiser slapped on a ZEN [T6] Pilot Escort would be insane.

    I just had to toss that out there.

    P.S. Throw in another Console from the set, say the Proton Charge Launcher, and pick up +25% damage with Phasers and Photon Torpedoes. If I had the money...
