Hey folks,
We've been looking into the lag and rubber banding issues in the game, and determined the cause. Unfortunately, the cause was a fix we'd put in place to fix an entirely different bug - that Captains were getting their skills invalidated by claiming Tier 6 reputations. Because the lag is a larger issue throughout the game, we've decided to remove the previous fix as of a few minutes ago. This means that until our next update, where we'll be instituting a fix that should solve both problems, you should avoid claiming a Tier 6 Reputation. We apologize for the inconvenience - the fact that these two things are even related is mind boggling, but that's coding for you.

It's a total mystery how the two systems could possibly be connected and even they seem stumped. It's like fixing an exchange bug and deleting a faction from the game at the same time.
I guess the code really is a total mess after all!

Got it this morning from T6 Gamma never got it on others and forgot when I clicked that it was reported forces a respec didn't respec or try to and just ran an isa to test 63k run so guess its not to bad

I don't have the respec bug, but my Delta Alliance rep traits are stuck on version 1 and can't be deselected in favour of version 2.

Unfortunately, I noticed at the same time that I do indeed have the respect bug. It must have been the same day as the lag, as I remember claiming a rep that morning.

I don't think the 2 things are related. Perhaps people are getting lag do to a bug in the T6 code, but I was getting lag well before anyone was getting anything to T6. However, not until the T6 option hit the holodeck was I getting any lag whatsoever.

One issue you will suffer from with the respec bug is that you cannot claim any new traits on that character (eg: starship traits etc). The boxes will open as usual or you get the mastery complete message but no amount of map changes or logins will make them appear until you have valid skills.
