    it really depends on what you want to do long term.

    feds:
    alot more ships available which is highly useful for admirality

    kdf:
    marauding, contraband farming for dil, cheaper consoles

    rom:
    max dps with sro traits

    jem'hadar:
    combat ready in 1h after after tutorial and setup, other factions you have to level up first
