Good defensive starship traits for KDF.

I was wondering if there were any alternatives that added up to near the level of Honored Dead without having to spend hundreds of millions of credits per KDF/KDF aligned character.

yep History will remember from the 2 ship bundle (totally worth the zen purchase) or Ablative shell and repair crews traits from the infinity lockbox/exchange

History Will Remember is superb, using it on all Fed and KDF now.
I've always found Honored Dead to be mediocre at best.

I have Honoured Dead on my Fed JHDC, don't have History will remember at all. Is it that good then, worth the package? Not even sure which trait I could swap out for it on my tank ship.

/edit: Actually just re-reading up on it, it does sound quite neat

Honored Dead was great when it came out - but they nerfed it later lol. For maps where it's gonna 'take a while', History Will Remember triumphs.

I keep swapping between the two as per the needs basically.

Context is for Kings, or Shield Overload (I only use it in PvP).

If you need more beyond the previously mentioned (which would seem unlikely, but w/e), I still get some occasional mileage from Battle Ready, but that trait is definitely a take-off-your-headphones affair.

Argala + Double XP weekend makes levelling new traits a breeze. Got that History will remember now, coupled with Honoured dead

I generally invest in Repair Teams and Context is for Kings, I'll start saving up for History will remember...but I have a question about the console...is it worth using if you have a free slot? According to the wiki it's usable on any ship and it looks like it could be a decent mix of offense and defense.

It sounds good but, it works so that you mark your target with it and once that target is dead the effect is gone so it is only good for targets with huge HP and because of that I rather use consoles that give me a permanent boost.

If you have the Timeline Stabilizer or D.O.M.I.N.O. use them, they are way better than the Temporal Trajectory Shifter. If not, then the TTS is a decent substitute until you can get either.

I have both, I use the DOMINO in all my builds but haven't reall played with the stabilizer.
