    The Starfleet uniforms in Picard look like a colorshifted variant of the Odyssey uniforms in STO. Maybe Odyssey uniforms will become canon afterall! Wink

    I for one, would love to be using the Odyssey uniform in my UFP signature!

    That's all I have to say on the matter...for now!

    It'll probably be someone talking him into teaching the new generation of Captains to become more like him (Picard). That's what I'm guessing. Well except the STO Captain, because dammit Jim. He's not an explorer.

    The uniforms though definitely seem like the Sierra ones, so I'm guessing that's probably what will be canon. I would imagine that Picard will last until we get caught up with the STO timeline, maybe even have the class of the STO Captain.

    Except we never once see the STO Captain on screen. They'll be mentioned, talked about and what not in vague terms, but you will never ever see them. And that will end the show. Or we end the show with Picard about to teach that STO Captain.

    Too early to say what uniform it is, until we get actual clear pictures.

    All I can see is, its some-what 'similar' to pre-dominion war TNG uniforms.

    based on the leaked image of the front, it looks closer to the countdown comic uniform to me, which would be great IMO

    It looks a bit too bright to me for the engineering/ops division, like it's skewed more heavily towards yellow than gold.

    Shows will apply a color filter in post production. I wouldn’t judge the colors in these photos. Fun fact, Kirk’s shirt in TOS was green, not gold.

    Agreed that it sounds worrying. But there is one little spark of hope in that article:

    "Hanelle Culpepper – who has directed episodes of countless high-profile TV shows including Star Trek: Discovey – will direct the first block of the series, while Jonathan Frakes – who directed Stewart in Star Trek: The Next Generation, First Contact and Insurrection – will take control of the latter block."

    While the first director is dodgy...Discovery didn't exactly go down well, at least until season 2. But Jonathan Frakes...fingers crossed he doesn't let them wreck it. If I remember, they brought him back for the mirror discovery episodes, which turned out to be the sole reason to watch the first season (at least to me). So there is hope...just not much of it Smile
