Im hoping that from April and June's pics, I hoping we get those ships.. im sure the Cardenas class will probably be zen.. however im banking that the Discovery version of the Constitution class will be R&D; like the others..,... sadly...

And out of the other stuff the leveling starships look like something interesting but the earning Zen ships from events looks like it'll get a lot of people to pay attention. Wonder how that'll work out...

We'll need to wait and see so far as the Discoprise goes. There is a chance that they may add it as a skin rather than an entirely separate ship. While the argument against that is that the ship is a different size, a couple of other ships already exist that alter their scaling between skins.

Unfortunately I think you're probably right and it's going to be another billion EC grind for anyone that wants one.

It will have to, with the foundry gone they have to get people playing, and this will hopefully the ships are account unlocked.

While I was assuming the Discoconnie would be Lockbox or Promo, I do find it interesting they chose to include it in June with the title of "Earn Zen ships by playing events."

If they are featuring the earning of Zen or Zen ships from in-game events then why would you include a non-Zen ship as your feature ship for the month?

I don't think this means anything they had her on the 2018/19 Roadmap too.

The earning Zen thing is most likely going to be on such a ridiculously small scale though as to be pointless for all but the most ardent farmer/grinder.

I mean, even playing the old Arc-point--farm-o-matic a year ago or so only netted you 500z every 3 months at most. So it'll not be a huge amount or it'll risk their profits dropping. Plus add in tthat the dilithium exchange is essentially this already.....not sure where it's going.

Yeah Im a tad unsure about Junes tease really. using the words "Zen" and showing off a Constitution class is not a good idea from a marketing stand point. Like Bridger previously mentioned, they used a reverse picture of her from the season one finale on the last roadmap, so maybe its a hint that the Disco Constitution will arrive in June alongside this event, and maybe either lockbox or R&D.

Hopefully this will be discussed on tomorrows live stream at midnight. I for one will be watching as I must admit, I've wanted the Disco Connie since I saw her on Discovery, and regardless of price, Im still gona purchase her...by whatever means.

Yeah true enough. But i fully expect you to need to play something a million-bajillion runs or ISA to earn a single T1 zen ship. It ain't gonna be a free-for-all!

True but they are also going to make all ships leveling ships so that is going to be a big deal.
