Hi guys, just wanted to pick your brains quickly. I just wanted to know whether the iconian 4 piece set bonus (radiant subatomic pulse) would stack with both my current console bonuses, and most importantly the weapon damage/power cost inspiration ability that comes with the command cruisers (Against All Odds).

In my head, the +33% all damage (30sec) would stack with the +33% all damage (15sec) to create +66% all damage for 15 seconds, and +33% for the remaining 15 seconds. Combine that with the innate (very decent) chance of 3 stacks of +15% energy damage for 8 seconds for the 3 piece iconian set (which I would need anyway for the 4 piece).

On the other hand, I could be completely wrong, and they do not stack. If this is the case, I will have to reconsider, and/or time my clickable to avoid each other.

Please bear in mind this is for a phaser build, on the buran. I'm trying to make a slightly tanker version of the vengeance, ready for elite content(if I ever get there). So I really need to offset the loss of a phaser vulnerability locator/exploiter.

Any thoughts guys? Thanks in advance

P.S. all of this is before consoles, traits, officers etc.

Oh, forgot to add. Please also remember that both Against All Odds, AND radiant subatomic pulse affect the team, not just me. Dont know how relevant, but still really nice for TFOs.

I wish that I could just parse and find out, but I'm assuming the quantity of variables involved would render this pretty innaccurate to say the least.

Thanks though, will run it on the assumption they do stack, until I hear differently.

The iconian set space is good, especially for your teammates. Its bonuses are generally suited for the team flagship/tank/cruiser, since they're not really an escort/destroyer friendly setup.

Iconian works best with a set of beams and fire at will on a flagship.

For the team-dps tank, I'd take the fleet colony intervention deflector and three piece iconian set. The clickie is good though, if you can time things really well. If you can't, it's not really worth working for it. Three piece set should suffice for most cases.
