Haha, It was a hopeful date and I would of been pretty happy if it was this/next week. Im happy if you want to have another crack though. Im guessing if its not next Thursday then it will (hopefully) be the Thursday after. We kind of had confirmation from both the roadmap and from Ten Forward weekly that its going to be released this month.

Yeah, it was pretty hopeful, should've know that was WAY too optimistic given cryptic's track record. If you don't mind me having another crack then buddy, I think it will be SUPER behind schedule, and say it will be the 27th June. Just based on this experience, I'm not happy with cryptic now, so I'm gonna say they are useless, and it was definitely not a bad guess

Haha of course. Ok Ill put you down for the 27th of June which to be fair, is probably an accurate guess. Im hopping sooner but looking at the release schedule of previous R&D releases, its usually back end of the month.

Ah. Well it's not going to be an Infinity Pack. Any new ship release is never infinity pack. The Connie will most definitely be an R&D Promo pack - there's no doubt about it. They won't launch a new lockbox for it just when they recently got a Section 31 lockbox in.

All old lockbox ships eventually get added to the Infinity Pack. So if they do plan to update the infinity lockbox this time - Crossfield Spearhead (the lockbox version) may get added to the infinity pack.

Haha awesome. That person who asked was me by the way I asked a few questions that were answered that I was really happy about, including the one in relation where Kael made a "mwuuuhahaha" comment on redit, about what type of ship she might be. (Captainwallis84).

So that changes things slightly for this thread. I have a good feeling we will probably have the Disco Connie on June 20th. My prediction on this thread though does not count haha!

Yeah that's my guess too, so either the 20th or 27th of June. My hope is that we get a blog on Tuesday 18th and then a release on Thursday 20th. That would be around the two week mark from the 5th.

Im more intrigued though about what Kael ment by "There's more to the Discovery Constitution than what "you're thinking about". This im really excited to learn more about.

My gut tells me it won’t be as offense oriented as people think/hope. Just a feeling.

Im confident it's going to be a Miracle worker spec ship, and thats purely because of the utter pounding she takes in such sweet sorrow part 2. Also, im pretty confident the unique console is going to be the D.O.T7 Repair drones, so she's going to be a tank. Im already planning a build for her based around the Kobali set. Cant wait to see what her spec is though.

In terms of layout, I reckon she will be the same as the Kelvin Command cruiser, but thats just a rough guess. I would however prefer, as she is technically "the same" 23rd century constitution class as the TOS one, that she will be a 5/3 layout. That's my wild hope anyhow.
