Return of the Crystalline Entity

As it's a question that gets asked on a near daily basis on the various chats and STO hangouts, this event will grant tokens towards the T6 ship claim.

CE is a good one to have after the last lock of events. Even with the changes you can kick it out in about 5 minutes instead of sitting around waiting behind time gates.

Excellent!

• All slotted 14-token projects for the following Events will be automatically completed, regardless of the existing amount of progress made:

○ Crystalline Cataclysm
○ Into the Breach
○ First Contact Day
○ Kobayashi Maru
○ Mirror Universe Invasion
○ Sompek Arena
• Projects completed in this manner will be awaiting you in your Event Reputation, ready to claim! This process will reward you the items, dilithium ore, and marks, as well as properly unlock Account-Wide reclaim as applicable.
• All existing tokens used in the aforementioned projects will be automatically removed from players’ inventories, as they will no longer have a purpose going forward.
• Bonus Projects (those that unlock after completion of the 14-day Project associated with each Event) will be unslotted and made unavailable.
• At this time, no changes will be made to past Summer, Winter, or Anniversary Ship Projects that are already in-progress on your characters.

This is definitly a nice thing to see for sure. However, Im gutted as I cancelled all my projects from events when ever I didnt earn enough as I have OCD and like my rep menus/items finished etc. I presumed that most of the items would eventually be added to the Phoenix box, which will probably be the case. If only I had just left the projects in my event list....lol

It's for PC, for now. It will migrate to consoles, probably in a month, or two. Consoles always lag behind PC by about that timeframe.

When does this hit the game? Thursday or Tuesday? I can't see a date.

I assume anyone who had the foresight to slot a tonne of these projects on multiple toons is going to get a massive dilithium payout when it hits; this should be interesting to see how the market handles it.

For everyone looking for the start date, it's in the ARC post:

This event will last for 3 weeks starting on June 6^th for PC players, and on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later in 2019. All players level 10 and above will be able to participate, and can earn a TFO Commendation once every 20 hours.

So it hits PC on Thursday.

Agreed. I think the majority of items in the recent updates have been really fun to use, yet people still scream and shout if it's not on par with the current meta. It's a shame really. I tried out the new mind meld device today from the disco rep and I don't think I've had that much fun on Kobali in a very long time. Regardless of the reward being mines, Im still going to enjoy using them. I mean, the cutter mines!! They were prety awesome in the episode Project Deadleus right?!
