Hello everyone, I just joined and thought it would be best to introduce myself.
My online nick is Bron, or some variant if already taken (Usually Bron101). I'm in my mid thirties, male and I come from the north west of england.
I'm a huge fan of scifi, and Star trek in particular - I grew up in the nineties with TNG and DS9. Star trek has always had a soft spot in my heart - I've always appreciated its positive message, that the future is bright and we can be better.
In RL i'm a software developer, working in healthcare and specialise in software security. I work full time and nowadays have limited time to play games. In terms of MMOs, I play a few, but quite causally. Back when STO came out I preordered and got a lifetime sub, but then never really got into the game. I'm getting back into it now (and I have a crap load of zen from the lifetime sub that I have no idea what to do with!).
As for other games I play, I have an active WoW account (looking forward to WoW classic!) and mostly inactive SW:TOR account. I have also spent far too much money on star citizen, so have a few ships to play with on that when it finally comes out.

DS9 is my favorite! I'm sure you'll find some uses for your Zen. UFP is pretty laid back and members of all activitie levels are here. Hopefully this is the fleet you'll call home and we look forward to getting to know you!
