So someone tell me if I am wrong but with the new claim rom ships faction wide this means that to get certain traits on toons your only going to need the rom version of said ship. Assuming then that this is giving you account-wide cross-faction access, lets use Promise of Ferocity as an example to get i only need the Dewan Vandros Pilot Tactical Escort and i got access on all toons rather than getting the cross-faction pack.

I would think it's possible....they only mentioned a few restrictions mostly involving lockbox/lobi/r&d ships that are faction specific.

my Romulan was able to get it from the Lethean pilot escort so I guess it would work the other way around

In terms of being able to Claim a Trait that has been earned from the Dilithium Store on a new toon, that trait has to be on a ship that is not available to your faction (IE, Klingon aligned characters can claim Ablative Field Generator from the Pathfinder Science Vessel only if it's been earned first on a Fed toon).

Now that Romulan ships are available to all (with exceptions), being able to claim Romulan Ship traits from the Dilithium Store will be removed (I guess) since they can be earned by all Captains.

I'm not too familiar to how LockBox traits work, as I've never really used them all that much.

So basically now you can just have all the ships in one toon, exp them, and the trait will be available to all your other toon?? So what's the point to buy the ship bundle with 3 different factions ships, when u need just one and the trait is going to be on all others?? Of course I'm just referring about trait issues only, not ships playability at the moment

If there is a ship with a Unique Trait that is not available on the other faction, and you earn the trait, it'll be available on the other faction, like the Ablative Field Projector trait that I mentioned.

If the trait is the same on equivalent ships (like the Cross-Faction Bundles) they would not be eligible.

Okay i bit the bullet and used my free ship voucher on the Romulan Miracle Worker ship for redirecting arrays opened on rom then opened on a fed and seems that it works meaning that any ships that you need to buy just for traits now means you only need to get the rom one to be entirly cross faction thats going to save a few zen on ship bundles that you only want the traits from then or at least till they lock it out somehow

Redirecting Arrays is a Cross-Faction Bundle trait, and cannot be claimed on other factions if earned on another faction (as it is not a Unique Faction Trait)

I think your missing the point I am making I am not referring to claiming via the dil reclaim option I am referring to rather than having to buy the 9 pack to access the trait on all factions i can now buy the Rom version of the she ship and having access to the trait on all factions if i want it meaning to get i can grind it out on alts i want it on and saves needing to the 9 packs as i have done in the past for cross faction access. menaing now i only have to buy bundles as and when i want the ships and not just the traits.
