Console – Universal – Mycelial Spore Burst
When activated, this console will leave a trail of Mycelial anomalies behind your ship as you move. When one of these get too close to an enemy ship, it will lash out, dealing electrical damage to that foe, and causing electrical damage to leap from that foe to two other nearby foes.

This console also provides a passive boost to Auxiliary Power and Scientific Readiness. This console may be equipped on any console slot, on any starship. You may only equip one of these consoles.

Starship Trait - Spore-Infused Anomalies
While this trait is slotted, Science or Intelligence Bridge Officer ability will cause your Bridge Officer summoned anomalies to deal electrical damage and drain the power levels of all foes nearby.

Meh......seems like a slightly less fun Scryer in my view, lacks a cloak (always handy) and has slighly less flexible bof seating in exchange for a Lt Cmdr tac seat and being a little bit more nimble.

I think i'll pass on it tbh.

Hard pass. There's enough Intel science ships out there already. They could have made it to fill a slot that we don't currently have, a MW sci ship or even given it some teeth by making it a temporal spec vessel. Unless that trait is ridiculously OP, it'll go down as 'there's more vital traits to put on an anomaly build sci ship'. Admiralty card doesn't look too impressive either.

Wasted opportunity but I'm sure that the build experts can do something with it.

Nobody is really going to want to buy a sci vessel like those knowing that stuff like a T6 Nova, Oberth or even Olympic are possibly just round the corner. They said in a P1 that there were going to be ship's we'd all been waiting for around the 10yr mark so i'm holding off until then personally.

Would consider picking one of them up if the console and trait aren't weak...but with this stuff they unfortunately tend to be.
