I'm looking for an active home for my characters, both Fed and KDF. I've been in two fleets since starting to play STO and honestly, I'm starting to burn out as in both cases there could be a dozen people on, but if you say Hi in game, there is nothing but silence to greet you. I do get into role playing, PvE, and PvP for giggles. I'm long past my days of competitive PvP and left that behind in Ultima Online. I'm still learning STO's mechanics, and honestly, I blow up as much as I don't in Advanced Queues. I'm also, admittedly, a bit addicted to the "Space Barbie" aspect of the game, and love just tweaking my characters and ships until the look just right. Something I carry over from my days of playing heavily modded Skyrim.
What I can give the Fleet, an open and friendly face (voice?) that will be eager to help out, join in group activities, and share what knowledge I have earned through trial, error, and research with those that haven't. I have experience in organizing events and helping to herd the cats that I know us gamers can be from my days running a guild in Ultima Online. Yes, if my birth date didn't date me, the fact I was around for UO's heyday should.
My main character for STO is a Fed-Aligned Romulan captain. She's at the level cap and slowly grinding away at her specializations. I've made so many mistakes along the way, I have almost restarted her a number of times, but I'm too sentimental to let a little thing like blowing up because I specced the wrong Specialization early on stop me from enjoying playing her. She is a Science Captain that continuously behaves like a Tac Captain in her starships while doing a fair job of mimicking Gandolf on the ground. Go-go futuristic space magic.
On the KDF side, I haven't actually settled down into a main. I'm torn between playing an Orion or rolling up as a Cardasian. I've had trouble getting into that side of things due to how much deader it is than the Fed side of things.
