    I was wondering since I'm not the best with numbers and how effective the different categories of damage mods word.

    The Adapted MACO with 25% torpedo damage or the Gamma set with 10% Kinetic damage...or is there another combo that I don't know about?

    I guess it depends on the ship. There's some Tac command cruiser torp builds out there and just about every science boat has a torp build. I've even seen torp builds for the new strike escort. What are you flying?

    Given the choice between the two sets, I'd recommend the Gamma set over the Adapted Maco set. You ideally want to boost Kinetic Damage over x% torpedo damage.

    There are plenty of consoles and traits that boost Kinetic damage, I'd personally prefer to go with a more meta setup for surviability e.g using Tilly's Review Pending shield and the Colony Deflector.

    Also with a torpedo boat, you want to boost shield pen as shields are the ultimate bad guy for torp boats.
