So. Now that we know Data's integration into B4 never worked and so Data never psuedo-resurrected to take Command of the Enteprise-E. That Mars and Utopia Planetia were destroyed. How is STO going to integrate Picard's story in?

I've stated in other posts that due to point in time that ST: Picard occurs any changes to the game would be limited to changing the lore. Which is as easy as updating a webpage or the historical accolades.

Like I said in other threads, I'm just not sure they can change a whole lot to fit in with the with Picard is going. I can go into more detail in what I mean...would it be spoilers since most of this info was released through interviews and such before the show premiered?

Having seen the first episode I’d say there’s not a massive amount that would need changing except for a few bits of the lore in the academy quiz thingies. Possibly some of the minor text from missions might need updating.
Nothing seems to be majorly different but I do hope we get to see some visual updates to the cities we saw in the episode with some more “alive” feeling ground maps on earth.

I think that some of the older missions, will be removed and rewritten; it's been done before.. Then released again..

I don't think much will need to be changed, If some episodes clash with the Plot they can probably make them into cheesy holo-novels written by the Doctor that the player can do aboard their ship

The Utopia Planitia thing is something that would need to be addressed for sure, unless STO decide to hand wave it. Given what we saw in Picard though, it seems unlikely they could do that if they try to tie the game back into the show.

Well since it already has the destruction of the Hobus star in it. That wouldn't need much change but STO had to carry on with what it thought the Federation was doing during that time. The comic 'Countdown' helped but I think this new Mars has been destroyed thing and rogue Synthetics will require quite a bit of work especially now that we've gotten so far from that time period. Then again we are so far from that time period now, maybe it wont and it'll be easy to sweep under the rug. At least until they start adding Picard stuff into the game.

It also depends on how the story Arc concludes, how it ends in the show could affect the current lore of STO. Big or small. Another wildcard is CBS, they do exercise their ownership of the property a few times, they could force Cryptic to align with the new canon.
