Events:
10th Annual Anniversary Celebration!
The Anniversary Event has now been moved into Star Trek Online’s recently released Events Tab.
• Activities within the Anniversary Event will contribute towards your Daily Progress in the Event, eventually earning your way toward the Grand Prize – a Tier 6 Ship!
• Earn rewards in the Omega Molecule Stabilization Game that will help you gain access to special crafting materials.
• Two new crafting options are now available:

○ Two Omega Fragments can be combined with varying amounts of Refined Dilithium to produce [Mark] and [Rarity] variations of the Omega Upgrade.
○ These new variants focus entirely on improving item Mark or Rarity, respectively, making them ideal for players seeking specific avenues of upgrading their equipment.

• This event will last for 30 days and Captains can earn an all new reward!
• Captains that earn 20 or more Daily Progress may then claim Event Grand Prize – Alliance Battlecruiser (T6).

Anniversary X Party Popper:
• The Annual toy-device for Anniversary X will celebrate the past by offering a random assortment of fire modes seen in previous Party Poppers.
Anniversary Emote Pack:
• Complete the Omega Stabilization Daily Mission each day during the event to earn the Anniversary Emote Pack containing the full assortment from previous years as well as five new emotes!

Bonus Rewards:
After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day, beginning at 2,500 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion.

Zen Buyout Option:
• For players interested in instantly completing the the Borg Resurgence Event, we will be offering an updated method for buying out.
• Within the new Event UI, an option will be presented that allows you to purchase the remaining progress that you need, for a scaling amount of Zen.

To Hell With Honor Featured Task Force Operation:
To Hell with Honor is an all new Featured Task Force Operation, where five Alliance Captains join forces to set upon a counter-attack on a barren moon in the Beta Lankal System.
• For the first time ever in a TFO, experience flying your ship while attacking ground forces.
• Completing the “To Hell With Honor” TFO will also contribute towards your Daily Progress in the Event, eventually earning your way toward the Grand Prize – Alliance Battlecruiser (T6):!

Two Task Force Operations Return:
Two Task Force Operations now return in regular rotation!
• Battle at the Binary Stars returns to rotation for Captains to experience one of the darkest moments in Federation history, as a bloody war was kicked off with the Klingons.
• The Mycelial Realm also returns where Captains will once again venture in the Mycelial Network to put a stop to the Klingon matriarch, Ju’la, from harvesting the power of the network.

General:
• Resolved an issue that was preventing Admiralty XP from being awarded.
• Resolved an issue where Bridge Officers could be missing their heads when commissioned.

Content:
• Resolved an issue during “Into the Hive” TFO, which could sometimes cause the Borg Queen to fall off of the platform.
• Resolved an issue during the mission, “Delta Flight”, where certain asteroids were missing textures.
• Resolved an issue during the mission, “Renegade’s Regret”, where it could be possible for players to get stuck in the outside cliffs.

Ships:
• Updated Revamped Constellation model to fix offset glow at full and reverse impulse, this also adds a third impulse trail at standard impulse speeds.
• Additionally, adjusted Constellation Pylons so that Dakota nacelles are no longer "floating" when attached to Constellation pylons.
• The model for the Constellation Class Heavy Cruiser has been rebuilt.

○ This revamped skin replaces the existing skin for the Constellation Heavy Cruiser Variant.

• All Heavy Cruiser variants may now use TOS, NX, NX Refit, Type 8 and Type 8b Materials, as well as Type 0, Type 5 and Type 6 windows.

UI:
• Added a search filter to the R&D window.
• Resolved an issue that caused search filters to appear over inventory items when the inventory was first opened.

Systems:
• Extended the end date of the Borg Resurgence Event on PC by 1 additional day.
• Borg ground enemies have received multiple updates:

○ Resolved several inconsistencies, general issues, and performance issues with existing abilities.
○ Increased the damage of the Assimilate DoT and improved the odds of being actually Assimilated when dying with the DoT present.
○ Borg can now Adapt to Crowd Control.

- After being Controlled, all nearby Borg gain temporary Control Resistance for a period of time.
- This can stack.

○ Added new abilities:

- Ambush: Transports in several half-finished "proto drones" behind the target. They are disposable but deadly.
- Anchor: Affixes the target to their location, slowing them and preventing them from leaving the radius.

+ If they try to run out, they suffer electric damage over time and are pulled back.

- Reroute Shields to Structure: A Borg with this ability can transfer another Borg's personal Shield power to its structural integrity.

+ This removes all Shields, heals Health, and provides temporary Physical and Kinetic Damage Resistance to the affected Drone.
+ Borg will tend to use this ability only when an ally has low Health but ample Shields.

• Resolved an issue that could allow Lorca Maneuver to be used while you're held stationary for a briefing.
• Resolved an issue related to the C-MOD weaponry that prevented Bridge Officers from using their Cyclic Modulation ability.
• Fixed a bug that was preventing buyouts of the Winter Event from properly processing, now that the Event has ended.
• Resolved an issue that prevented the Suliban Flight Deck Carrier from using the S.C.S. prefix on non-Romulan carriers.
• Resolved a typo in the description of the Adapted K.H.G. Disruptor Battle Rifle, which indicated it dealt Phaser damage instead of Disruptor

Ok some nice updates in there I won’t lie. The borg ground update is an unexpected but welcome change, maybe the borg will be getting a revamp soon

The things I welcome in this patch are

Resolved an issue that was preventing Admiralty XP from being awarded.

I might start doing Admiralty on alts that haven't finished it again now as such

Resolved an issue related to the C-MOD weaponry that prevented Bridge Officers from using their Cyclic Modulation ability.

As I have said in-game to people would be good if you could manage the Boff's cycling of this weapon for them that are using it for the endeavor purposes allowing you to slot up the damage type needed.
