The new MW Sovereign has a little extra ace in the hole, the Lt. Engineering seat is also a pilot seat, so I think it might be rather fun to try that out. I'll be using the LT slot for the skill as I've got construction shuttle wing in the Ensign slot to compensate for the lack of Engineering Team, but I'm not sure which skill to use. What's the opinion on Lock Trajectory and Pilot Team?

Personally I don't rate pilot abilities at all, but if you're wanting to run some pilot boff abilities I'd suggest either: Reroute Reserves to Weapons or Pilot Team for the zoomies!

Are you going to try double beams or canons? Otherwise lock trajectory seems somewhat useless.

I think we'll go with the pilot team ability, the turn/speed boost is probably more useful in the long run on a larger ship, cheers!

I personally use empty pilot seating for Hold Together. But I tend to overtank my ships anyway, so that might not make sense to everyone

I'm not sure what to make of the pilot abilities so far. They seem very much engineered towards escorts/raiders and finding it hard to justify slotting them on a large cruiser. The pilot team flight speed and turn rate is nice, but little else seems to be worth it compared to other abilities.
