Special OPS DPS League

The revamped DPS League is now structured so you can see where you fall within STO's difficulty categories. It provides an opportunity for you to see where you can improve and get advice. Only ISA, ISE, HSA, HSE parses will be acceptable.

ISA or ISE parses are accepted for the below and above 75K DPS Brackets. ISE or HSE will only be accepted for the 125K + bracket.

Please upload your parses via SCM for verification and provide screenshots below.

Important* The first 90 seconds of ISE require a total TEAM damage output of 550K DPS in order to complete it within that 90 second window

I have no idea how some of you guys get to such nutty DPS levels.

I always seem to lose out when trying ISA/ISE runs to parse my DPS because everyone else just KO's the things before I can even pop my abilities.

Frankly I've always been confused as to why STO doesn't have the "target dummy" NPC targets that you know... literally every other MMO out there has to determine build DPS etc. Instead of relying on others to have bad DPS just parse on the dummy and understand precisely what your spike and sustained DPS is. It would be quite simple to create, at least in theory.

Have a "training grounds" map, with various "disabled" ships there, various ship types to practice on but have them setup similar to NPC ships in missions (in that their HP automatically resets to 40% etc after they would normaly die). Would be quite popular I'm sure.

There is a training ground on the tribble test server you can use to parse your DPS Starbase 234. Its a solo map so you can use it to parse your DPS, tanking or exotic damage builds. You should try that; parse a few runs in there and analyse the logs, we’re here to answer any questions you might have, I’d post them in as a separate thread in here or in build discussions.

Ah excellent! I'm puzzled as to why it has to be on Tribble though? That just seems like a completely unecessary hoop to jump through. Just put the damn thing on the live server and cut out the busy work copying your character and installing another client!?
