So Picard is only 3 episodes out from the end. What do we all think is next up in what's looking to be a regular rotation?

Everything CBS has said is more or less to the effect that there should always be some new Star Trek show airing on All Access, and both Lower Decks and Discovery Season 3 have been in post-production for a bit now, but no hard news has come out yet. All we can do is spread rumors and consult the tea leaves on if we'll see more Discovery or the Lower Decks first, and how much of a gap will be between them and the end of Picard Season 1.

For me I'm expecting Lower Decks first seems likely. It's been in the works for a while now, though if the ready by May speculation is true, we'll probably see a month or two break after Picard, but who knows, With a 4th show being filmed now, CBS is clearly all-in on this.

I'm looking forward to Lower Decks. The art and writing teams have done things in the past I've greatly enjoyed, so I have hope for this one.

Now that CBS and Viacom have re-merged and can use the full Star Trek license, rather than the complex and convoluted way it was separated before, I think we'll definitely see more shows. They can't afford to allow such a lucrative IP to lapse.
