Think that I am just going to hold off and binge watch the last coup[le of eps this is one of those series that for me need to be watched this way

This might just have been my favorite episode thus far. Seeing what Seven can do with a cube after all that time is pretty impressive!

I thought this was the best episode so far. As much as I was happy to see Riker and Troi last week. To me this episode was the one that brought the series to life. I think the show is hitting its stride now. I can't wait for Season 2.

I'm really enjoying watching this weekly - gives each episode the chance to 'percolate'. I've not really talked to people about any tv show in ages - until Picard. Everyone is usually either far ahead or waiting to binge watch something. It has really added to the enjoyment for me. it also made me realize that binge watching means the impact of each episode is a lot less. They all blur together.

Anyway, whatever floats your boat, I was just very pleasantly surprised what a difference it made

Really enjoyed this episode as well - I was starting to get a bit worried that a lot of the story threads were going to be forgotten or turn out to just be meaningless, but this episode pulled a bunch of them together and advanced the overall plot in a (to me anyway) cohesive manner - similar to how it seems Picard's crew is starting to pull themselves together.

I still am having a bit of trouble reconciling the current badass Seven of Nine with how she was before... I'm hoping there will be some backstory (book? comic book?) to fill in the blanks, but Seven as Borg queen was very cool.

Very true! I also liked the reveal of the Ibn Majid silhouette. And a look at his Commander Uniform.

Isn't that explained with the group she joined, the Fenris Rangers? STO mentions it too, in the 3rd paragraph down of Seven's history . She definitely makes a scary queen you wouldn't want to mess with.

so I watched it and what is happening is what I predicted about seven and the Cube I just didnt think it would go that way. so just going by what she said when she let go of the cube " Anica still has things to do" or something close to that tells me that she is going to come to the for asimulation of the race that the warning is about and not actually fo rescued picard out of the whole ep that was the only thing to me that was interesting. I did enjoy how rafi is trying to straighten out on her own and it does make more sense about the synths not coming from Data but from ancient advanced race

I found the whole Borg scene uncharacteristic to what the Borg are. Referring Seven as 'Anika'. "She still has work to do".. what?

Borg aren't a mercy race. Well not supposed to be anyway.
