[Discussion] - Need advise on which Doff to get.

    There seems to be some confusion about what I am asking.
    I am trying to increase my damage.

    Here is my build. The Notes Section has all details missing from Skill Builder.
    Tac Fleet MW Battlecruiser Main

    BO MW Align Shield Frequencies 1 and Narrow Sensor Bands 3.

    Current CrtH 40% CrtD 240%

    DBB Phaser [CrtD/DM] Dmgx4
    Trilithhium Omni
    Sensor-Linked Omni Dmgx4
    KCB Dmgx4
    I have 2 Doff slots available and these are my choices.

    1. EWO CrtH Crit Chance = Very Rare 4% chance: +1% Critical Chance buff to self for 15 sec (Stacks up to 3 times)
    2. EWO CrtD Crit Severity = Very Rare 4% chance: +10% Critical Severity buff to self for 15 sec (Stacks up to 3 times)
    3. Liberated Borg 24 of 47 Tac/MW = Improve Critical Chance by 2.5% for 30 seconds./Set Power Levels to maximum for 5 seconds.
    4. Liberated Borg 19 of 47 Eng/MW = Improve Weapon Armor Penetration by 50 for 30 seconds./Set Power Levels to maximum for 5 seconds.

    Power levels are not an issue. Though I do have AMP. I am running A2B.

    Hi, I have been tweaking my build and need to replace 2 EWO rare [SP] Chance to reduce the time to recharge when using beam special attacks, It's been suggested that I get EWO with either CrtH or CrtD. In combat, my CrtH is 45% and CdtD is 260%. It was also suggested maybe getting 24 of 47 Tac/MW. I am using A2B so my other Doff is good. I have the EC just don't know which one to get. Thanks
    One more thing I was told to run EptE1 and ECH. What is ECH?

    But I can clarify this:
    One more thing I was told to run EptE1 and ECH. What is ECH?
    ECH stand for Emergency Conn Hologram available from a rare Phoenix token. It resets the cool down of Evasive Manouvers when EPtE is used.

    As t'tan said you can use the conn officer doff from the Phoenix pack which is nice for getting out of situations really fast. I wouldn't bother with a c/d doff for beam special attacks and A2B doffs take care of that for you.

    Without seeing your complete build, the answer that I'm giving is a general purpose answer...I'd get one of each VR EWO...CritD and CritH. Without knowing how many MW abilities you're using, and how often they're going off, it's hard to recommend 24 or 19. In most situations though, the VR EWOs are going to give you better results, so that's my recommendation, for what it's worth! Good luck!

    Ok...I've been very busy the past couple of days, but I've had time to look over your build. I'll list the changes that I'd try to make, if I could....

    Equipment:

    Swap one Sensor-Linked Dual Beam Bank to Dark Matter Torpedo...trust me, it's worth it! Since you're facing head on most of the time anyway, you'll definitely benefit, as you get to use Mixed Armaments Synergy 3, and it procs the kemocite way more!

    Bridge Officer Powers:

    Swap EPtS1 to EPtE1...ST1 to HE1...KLW2 to TS2...DT1 to KLW1...OPR3 to MAS3

    Starship Traits:

    Swap History Will Remember to Superweapon Ingenuity...also, if you have access to The Best Diplomat or Super Charged Weapons, then try replacing Promise of Ferocity with one of those. Personally, I'd replace Honored Dead with the other of those 2 offerings, but I'm an Engineer, and surviving is easier for me. If you find that you're not dying, maybe try swapping out Honored Dead as well.

    Space Reputation Traits:

    Swap Energy Refrequencer to Controlled Countermeasures (it is proc'd by the Cold Hearted Starship Trait...nice 9.4% Bonus Damage boost!)

    Personal Space Traits:

    Swap Self-Modulating Fire to Point Blank Shot...I might try replacing Beam Barrage with Into the Breach or Anchored, just to see how they work out for you. I suspect either is better than Beam Barrage.

    Active Traits:

    There is nothing life changing here, but if you want the hassle of changing these traits between ground and space missions, Anti-Time Entanglement Singularity can produce some nice numbers sometimes, Deploy Sensor Interference Platform can take the heat off of you in dicey situations, and Tethered Non-Baryonic Asteroid is pretty fun, though it can attract a lot of unwanted attention!

    Duty Officers:

    Swap EWOs used for cooldowns to 1 EWO for CrtH and 1 EWO for CrtD...Warp Core Engineer to Photonic Conn Officer for recharging Evasive Maneuvers after using EPtE1, or to an additional EWO for CrtH or CrtD, or 24 of 47, or Agent Nerul (Heals on use of Attack Pattern Beta)...depending on what your needs, or desires are. I'd probably go with 24 of 47 as it gives chance for bonus power levels and CrtH, but if you want the maneuverability, go with the Photonic Conn Officer, or for the additional healing, go with Agent Nerul.

    That's all that I've got for now. I hope that it helps!

    Thanks, Morris. I made some of those changes. My first too was also an engineer so I learn towards survival. I need to kept History Will Remember, I don't have Superweapon Ingenuity. I do have Super Charged Weapons so I did use it to Promise of Ferocity. I did buy those two Doff and got the Holo. Since the Dark Torp has such a fast recharge rate I will give it a try. I could not find anything on "Into the Hive" trait, so I assume Hive Defense. Thanks for your advice.
