I'm not even sure I am going to bother grinding for the summer ship, it just looks soooooo ugly to me. And not a space wizard either, so neither console or trait interest me.

Well if nothing else the admiralty card, I'm guessing if you don't play much science you may not have many science admiralty cards.
Thats a fair suggestion, and could use more... but I generally have enough though. And its a loooong slog for just an admirality card. Still, its Risa so I may just be hanging out there and getting it 'by accident' - now that all the activities count.

Personally i think it looks awesome, both in looks and stats.
Then I wish your sense of aesthetics a speedy recovery! I'm not looking forward to even more 'magic in space' effects flying around, but hey, each to their own. At least this one is not in an enormously expensive pack.

For anyone interested, she's already on Risa floating above the sea. There's a funky effect going on round the "sails" too which looks cool.

Combine that trait with the spore infused anomalies one and things will be real nasty
Shame the only console which boosts electrical damage is stuck on a meh r&d ship

Yeah. This also will make Temporal Ships a wild thing as well, because you can actually get more anomalies with Temporal vs Intel. I mean, add in the Temporal Aux boost and well.
Then again, just about any ship which you can slot LTC Science becomes a hell of a ship now. Also I suspect the prices of Very Cold in Space, Subspace Vortex and ... I can't think of the last one are going to go up now.
It also means I can fly my Guardian now and it be a hell of a ship. I love my Guardian. My first T6 ship and still my favorite.
