Those are some fine looking nacelles.....not exactly ample.....but long and slender.

Interesting to get a DSC variant though, I always assumed the Excelsior was built off designs from the Constitution class but I guess no harm in making up a new/old class that got improved.

It kind of looks to me like the Kelvin and Discovery universes birthed a hybrid universe Excelsior. The nacelles are definitely Discovery, but the distance between the nacelles, and the general swept back look of the ship reminds me of Kelvin timeline ships. It's not bad, but I agree with Solace...I'll need to see the seating before this is a buy for me...and I generally like the original Excelsior designs better, but I won't complain about something new.

Looks like a Disco-Ized Excelsior, was iffy when I saw it on reddit but I'm gonna be honest, its grown on me somewhat.

More like Disco-Tron... but yeah I see some Disco influence in this model for sure... I see the secondary impulse engines moved from the sides to a double-stack feature.

Personally the ships layout will make or break it for me. I'd still use the TMP skins eitherway because I just love the OG Excelsior and Refit variants.

I've always loved the bridge aesthetics of that era, the later ships like the Excelsior and Enterprise B....love the blue and green console colors. Shame we never get them or the NX bridge

You should watch Star Trek Borg also both the Prometheus and Equinox Bridges were redresses of the Enterprise-A/Excelsior Bridge.

Aside from the funny Tron line down the hull I still like it.
The DSC style has always seemed nice to my eyes, clear Trek design but with a more rugged utilitarian slant to it rather than just vague curves and bubble shapes like many of Cryptic's designs of late (Command BC's, MW ships, Tempest etc.).

My only hope is it's not another bloody bundle ship like the T'liss, Mirror Dread etc. I just want to be able to buy a ship on its own for the standard price; is that too much to ask?
