I've just picked up the game and its currently installing. I've been reading that turning on DLSS gives the game a great performance boost.

Only issue ive had is the Anti aliasing, and not being able to turn it off which makes the hair look fuzzy

I'm liking the melee combat more than the gunplay, but I dislike the car handling. Though it always takes me a while to get used to a new game's car physics...

I am just enjoying making heads pop off, be it slicing them off, or shooting them off, the level of gore is quite good, though, the fact that those are my favourite parts of the fighting, probably says more about me than anything! There are a lot of dark, and sensitive subjects going on in Cyberpunk too, which me no like, they make me mad, me go smash bad guys!

Following up on my previous post, it turns out I can in fact do Ray Tracing at Medium (the settings are Off, Medium, Ultra), with the other RT options still on. From that alone, it's the difference between 20-60 fps and 50-60 fps.

Also car handling seems to depend heavily on the car. So far buddy's motorcycle is most comfortable, since I don't have nice cars.

Performance wise I'm not having too much troubles, but I have come across some of those ridiculous bugs. Ran into my car, causing it to Yeet to other side of the map lmao.

I'm enjoying the game in all honesty. I do agree with Bedders regarding the joy of using melee weapons in this game. I end up hacking + melee striking a lot. I found car handling to be difficult on KBM but extremely easy when I connected my xbox joystick.

Big patch incoming apparently next week for console versions read before Sony is pulling it from the store may be why the patch coming for console soon as they are offering a full refund for it. I really don't get people with that, it's a game that I expected to have bugs and would rather see the patches and fixes they bring than just refund and get again at a later date myself

I mean, for the last gen systems, the bugs were pretty unacceptable, and probably should have been delayed for those systems until the game was fixed. For others, many of the bugs have workarounds, annoying as they are, saving is a must, thank the stars for quicksave on that one! Patch for PC players can certainly wait, even as buggy as it is, it's still better optimised than some PC games I have played recently, which don't play nice with my older hardware.

The performance on console is quite damning for CDPR. They had every opportunity to wait to release until the new year because they knew performance would be awful; they chose not to delay it any further. They could have staggered the platform releases. They probably did it to ensure they got sales before Christmas, which as Arno12 said means they're going to be losing big time from Sony's announcement.

The game certainly has it's bugs, but so far I've not encountered any that seriously hinder the experience. I went with Nomad and am still on my first playthrough. The hacking is so much fun, give me access to the security cams and I can clear an entire building without setting foot inside.

I can't really remember the last time I got lost in a game world like this. Several times now I've been surprised because all of a sudden it's early morning and I need to force myself to go to bed (doesn't really work though).
