I've got a problem with TS3 which I cannot for the love of me find a solution to. 
I cannot hear anything through my new headset, not even the test sounds. My mic works as the test in the setting window works fine.
The headset works perfectly on all other applications and media on my PC so the issue is definitely TS related.
Have tried all the settings in TS for playback and capture options, and tried resetting my PC's own audio settings numerous times. No effect from anything.
Headset is a Corsair HS50 Pro; it's a USB connection if that helps anyone come up with a solution.
Previous headset i was using had no issues last month when I was using it around the time of UFPAC.

Go to your sounds and double-check that you set your headset to default communication device. Then go to recording and ensuring it's mic is also set to default.
Check your TS playback and capture and rather than have them on default, select your headphone and headphone mic respectively.

My setting i have at the mo
I would also check if the systems sound processor software is at fault the last time i had issues it was the realtek software and not TS

Thanks this solved it. Seems the issue was with the Realtek sound settings. Swapping away from that seems to have solved the issue and everything else still works too.

My problem is worse.
I am on a gaming laptop with build in microphone that is malfunctioning.
Problem is that when I connect an external mic, it conflicts with the build in one so it cannot be recognised as a new one. So no talking ingame for me.
Also the store I bought it from cannot see a solution.
Good thing the sound itself is working

Disable the onboard mic in settings should solve that or removing the device from device manager

That is just what is not happening. The laptop is pre installed and the producer of it disabled the option to remove pre installed hardware.
I have this problem for months now and this solution also came up but didn’t work.
