I have already told Welsh and Leopard that I don't have any RP experience at all so taking part here is new to me. Don't expect any "wonders", and I will definitely need some time to understand everything that's important in terms of writing and interacting with you. I'm sure you'll do fine! It's a process for all of us, and it gets easier the more you do it.

As for your character, we can make an opening at head of security. When Asteropax took over as captain, their character was the Chief Tactical Officer. There were two NPCs created under the CTO character - a Head of Security (Ian Locke) and a Head of Tactical (Victoria Kenney) The position was basically split...one did security and the other fought the ship. When my character took over as Chief Tactical Officer, Locke and Kenney worked under him, with Kenney moving to the Tactical II station when my character was on the bridge.

So its your choice I suppose whether or not you want the chief of security position or just a random security officer. As I remember, Locke's wife was pregnant, so that would open up a position.

It may sound strange, but Asteropax was very thorough with the NPCs. He designed basically a whole list of all the security and tactical officers, which can be found on the NPC page. Everyone is free to use them, or invent more. I have more fun sometimes playing with the NPCs (especially Lt Kurts) than I do my own character *LOL*
