You know, the moment I watched that TNG version, I immediately was thinking "oh hey, they are using the TNG theme version for the reboot".

...and then my dreams died as I remembered this is fan stuff. Honestly, TNG's theme version should just have been Star Trek's (at least the Enterprise ones) go to theme song. It is just such a good tune.
