Maybe it's just me but I don't see how it's so OP?

It's still only got 6 weapons so it's not going to win on weapon power...science ships can do great dps but to my knowledge science hasn't surpassed pure 8 weapon tac in dps. Inspiration abilities are kinda meh because they take so long to build up. It isn't the first science ship with battle cloak

I'm not saying it's a bad ship I'm just not sure how it becomes the best ship in the game.

You're not alone. I too don't see why many players think this is such a powerful ship. As a Sci DPS player, I know this ship won't have as high performance as other sci ships like the Verne because it lacks temporal seating. Without temporal seating to help add anomalies for SIA and to recharge your console abilities with Uncon Systems, your science damage will be much less. If this ship had at least a LtCmd/Temporal, then you might have been able to do good DPS with Dew-Sci.

With the new weapons most likely coming out for lockbox, they'll be worth testing out. Me personally, I want to see them bring the ECH as a bridge officer.

As I see that outright admitting I over shot the moon on the subject doesn't count as admitting to being wrong. I'll do one better.

I apologize that I made such a stupid, idiotic and downright dumb statement. To ensure that no one mistakes it for fact -because apparently I'm somehow an authority on the subject and not say just overly excited by the potential of the ship- I'll head back and correct my original post with an edit admitting to the disrespectful error I committed.
