That's odd...I went to take a look at the blog again and they edited the image of the Janeway firing weapons...the cannon still has a yellow beam but the new image shows it firing teal colored beams

Cryptic sent some new images to Kael, the yellow ones were using unfinished FX apparently and the new ones are canon accurate - 32nd Century Starfleet ships fire blue/green tinted phasers.

But how do you go from thick yellow to thin teal? Granted I'm not a artist but it's a rather big difference I would think lol

It's not uncommon for stuff to use placeholder FX while the final effect is tweaked or decided on, that's probably what's happened in this case.

So what exactly is holding that ship together? And I'm guessing they only use the transporter to get around? What happens when the power runs out?

Finally Cryptic gets to roll out a ship with missing parts as an intentional design feature.

As others said, the lack of temporal features handicaps its potential as an exotic build. The seating is a bit more favorable for a pure torp boat, but there are better torp boat platforms out there too. Sensor masking from the photonic cannon is underwhelming too, so unless it has amazing DPS this thing seems pretty forgettable...or at least I hope I can forget this ugly thing....

I showed this to my kid and he thought it was the coolest looking ship in the game.

On a sadder note I'll be spending the week looking for at local special needs schools now......

It’s shown in S3 when they arrive at Starfleet HQ. It’s called Voyager on the show so it’s clearly a continuation of the line from the Voyager e know from the series; but a much more advanced class of ship.

There will no doubt be more ships added to the game as there were a lot of different types of ships shown. This one is clearly designated as a hero ship so it got the promo box treatment.
