Blizzard have recently started a fundraising campaign for Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières, more so for their COVID-19 Crisis Fund. To encourage people donating, they are gifting all players an in-game pet (Bananas the Monkey) upon reaching their goal of $500,000, and another one (Daisy the Sloth) upon reaching their stretch goal of $1,000,000. The campaign ends April 26.
The fundraising campaign allows for the creation of teams that can set their own goal. As this is World of Warcraft, people have created teams to represent their guilds. We have done the same! So, we encourage everyone donate any amount and make a difference in the fight against the pandemic.
How to donate:
- Navigate to our guild's fundraising team page and click the 'Join Our Team' button
- Fill in your Donation Amount and select your currency type from the drop down next to it.
- For USD only—Choose PayPal, Amazon Pay, or credit card as payment method.
- For all other currencies click "Next" and enter credit card billing and payment information.
- Click "Pay" to process your donation.

A bit of a late update, but Blizzard have reached their first goal of $500,000!
To get Bananas, go to the Blizzard Shop on their website or from the Battle.net desktop app and claim him for free!
