[Announcement] - Delta Recruits Return

The special Delta Recruitment event is coming back! Starting April 15th on PC and May 13th on Xbox and PS4, you can create a new Delta Recruit character. Any newly-made 2409 Starfleet character, Klingon Defense Force character, or Romulan Republic character is eligible to become a recruit for the 28 days that this event runs!

Delta Recruits gain a set of special goals in order to prepare for the Iconian War. Using a tesseract transceiver from the future, you’ll chase down information about the Iconians and complete other tasks to make sure your faction’s ready to handle the Iconians. Along the way you’ll earn great rewards, and gain special account unlocks so that your other characters are rewarded, too!

In addition, we’ve updated the Delta Recruit tasks to remove out-of-date missions and introduce new goals with new rewards. Missions that are no longer in the episode journal will no longer have Delta Recruit tasks in them, but we’ve added new tasks to the New Romulus, Dyson Sphere, and Delta Quadrant story arcs. You’ll also gain rewards from completing those mission groups. Tasks that previously gave you marks have been updated so that you can claim all of the new kinds of Reputation marks that’ve been added since the first launch of Delta Recruitment. There’s now a reward for reaching level 60, which gives you even more marks and Reputation dilithium, as well as salvage, so that you can earn more Reputation gear and re-engineer your equipment for the endgame. We’ve added new rewards for completing your faction’s Admiralty campaign, including a very special Admiralty card: The U.S.S. Voyager!

Existing Delta Recruits will be able to complete these new goals as well, and if you’ve already finished them, you can claim the rewards immediately.

Remember, to become a Delta Recruit and gain access to the rewards, you must make a new 2409 Starfleet character, a Klingon Defense Force character, or a Romulan Republic character during the event, then you must play the tutorial until you receive your special Delta Recruit tesseract transceiver device. Once you receive the device, your character is a Delta Recruit and you can complete the goals any time and claim the rewards, even after the event ends.

Delta Recruitment returns from April 15-May 13 of 2021 on PC and May 13-June 10 on consoles.

This event finishes in the next 10 days on Thursday 13th May at this time Fleet placement and recruitment goes back to normal.

I love that it is returning, and is revamped. The changes sound good, and a reason to play again.

I am pleased about this but I wish they’d give the Temporal Recruits some love too.

Oh geez, I might have to play my old Rom delta recruit too for new stuff to complete? I thought it was going to be bad enough to spin up 2 new toons, but dusting off a half-baked torp boat build on top of that will probably keep me busy for a while (and probably broke). Not to mention I still haven't fully finished that Klingon recruit yet....

I missed the Temporal Recruit Drive, and I seriously wish they'd bring that one back so I can get my fingers on some of that juicy, juicy goodness.

It actually had a rerun in 2018. The original delta recruit event was in 2015. If y'all miss this 2021 rerun, mark your calendars for 2024 apparently.

It is in the works too, but they said it wouldn't be first when they mentioned in in the Ten Forward stream a while back. Probably will get your chance later this year.

I caught the Deltas back in 2018, but I only did FED because I'm an idiot and didn't know that the KDF (and apparently ROM) toons needed separate alts. Now I wonder if I'm going to be able to do a Delta'Hadar?

As for the possibility of a rerun of the Temporal Agents? That's sweet, sweet news. Thanks!

Hmmz.... i'm beginning to become conscious of whisps of memories that i might have two delta recruits in my list of toons. T'Tam A'Tam and eeehm... another honerable first.... maybe.... ?

Jem'Hadar wont be involved...only event they were part of is the gamma recruits.

So after watching last nights Ten Forward they will be bringing other recruitment events back soon also so if you missed any of other recruit events keep an eye out for them coming up.

There are no actual account benefits currently, of creating multiple recruits in one event or creating a second 'x' recruit when the event comes around again, is there? (Other than the general 'benefits' any alt brings)

With the Delta Recruite you get more Mark rewards when you create one of each (Federation, Klingon, Romulan)
